What it is
Every KDA address names one place. The Karaar Routing Code names the area that place belongs to for routing purposes — a numeric code that groups nearby addresses so mail, parcels and service visits can be sorted and dispatched efficiently. It is issued by the registry together with the address; nobody chooses it.
Where it appears
On the complete address, on its own line after the region and before the country — Karaar Routing Code: #####. It is also returned as a separate field to authorised systems that read KDA addresses, so a routing system never has to parse it out of text.
How it supports delivery
- Sorting: items for the same routing area travel together.
- Dispatch: a driver's run can be planned by area before individual addresses are read.
- Service coverage: utilities, health and emergency services can plan by area rather than by street.
An address can have a KDA code before its routing code is issued; when both exist, use both.
